So much gets lost in time
Some magic words I said to you late one night
A spell that worked and made your love shine bright
Wishing I was with you again tonight
There was a place and there was a time
I was there and so were you
I remember there was a rhyme
Something strange that stays in my mind
Only got a few more notes to play
I wanted to play them for you
I don’t know where we are going
But I’m going with you
I don’t know where I will be
But you will be there too

Everyday a different nightmare a different dream
Marvelous world Horrible world Lovely world
Everyday day a different marvel a different scream
No body knows just where this goes
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
I don’t know the notes to play
I just start playing and they come to me
We all gota run chase the sun
It’s what this life has come to be
Don’t spend the day under the gun

As the days run down to just a few

Scavenger

Scavenging the back way home, Looking for the bits and pieces,
Give me the strength to get one more mile down the road.
Systems failing just plug the holes I got one more mile to go.

Devils on my heals I stay one step out ahead
dont matter how you feel you run or your dead.

There is a paradise just outside that patio door.
I’m trapped inside with my dreams scattered on the floor.

Joey is dead the codine took his head
We thought we would have more time
the quiet ones fade in the nite.

I’m dying quicker than I can live
I feel the time crushing me down it’s on everyone.
Painting one frame at a time that’s my whole life
You put a spell on me when you walked out that door

Dancing on the edge of a flame
The things that keep you warm can cause you so much pain.
If i would of had just one moment to think it through
Life would have been so very diffeent for me and you

What can one man do when the whole world goes bad
Just makes me sad what were going through
Little throphies that we earn everyday
They seem so very important right at the moment
