Loneliness and I have always been the very best of friends.

I remember when mom was beautiful
and daddy was just as mean.
He beat her with a chair in the kitchen
on Christmas eve.
Me and my baby brother,
we got right in the way.
We said daddy your not gonna
beat on mommy no more today.
